Description
The contract was awarded through a direct award under the External Defibrillation Devices, Related Equipment and Associated Accessories framework agreement. The Trust had an existing installed base of ZOLL Medical UK Ltd defibrillation equipment and required compatibility with existing devices, consumables, training arrangements and maintenance provisions. Standardisation of equipment across the organisation reduced clinical risk, simplified user training and supported operational efficiencies. The selected solution represented the most suitable option to meet the Trust's clinical and operational requirements
