Procurement for the redevelopment of EUMETNET observations data hubs and ongoing support on behalf of the Met Office The requirement: The Met Office is seeking to establish a Contract with a single supplier for the redevelopment and ongoing support and maintenance of three Datahubs. The Met Office is responsible for three services, known as Datahubs, collecting, processing and delivering meteorological observations data to users on behalf of EUMETNET Programmes (E-Profile , E-GVap and E-ABO). The Met Office has delivered these observations services operationally for more than a decade. The three Datahubs are currently operational but are reaching end-of-life due to their age and their deployment on Met Office on-premises platforms (LINUX VMs). The Contract term and value: The initial Contract term is expected to be for a period of 2.5-years (July 2026- December 2028) followed by 5 x 1-year optional extension periods up to Dec 2033. The Contract value within the initial Contract term shall include the initial development and the initial operational costs with the intention of having all 3 Datahubs fully operational by the end of the initial Contract term.
