Description
1. Short Description / Scope of Works The Contracting Authority is seeking expressions of interest for a comprehensive "source and erect" contract to execute the proactive replacement of 10 streetlighting units across designated locations in Winscombe, North Somerset. The successful contractor will be responsible for the decommissioning and safe disposal of existing assets, the supply of all specified components (luminaire, photo-electrical control unit, columns, and bracket arms), and the complete mechanical installation and erection of the new assemblies. All physical civil works, structural installations, and equipment supply fall under this contract scope. All specialized, live electrical grid interventions directly involving the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) network must be priced entirely separately as a distinct, unbundled cost element. 2.
