Description

THIS NOTICE IS A CALL FOR COMPETITION The Xlinks UK-Morocco Power Project (the Project) is a multi-technology renewable energy project of approximately 11GW of Moroccan generation facilities connected exclusively to the UK through an HVDC system, including approximately 4000km of onshore and offshore HVDC cables. To support the development of the Project through to the final investment decision and then onwards into the construction and operations phases, Xlinks First Limited (Xlinks) is seeking the support of a Client- side Project Management Contractor (PMC). The PMC will work in conjunction with Xlinks and Xlinks’ client team, including the Owner’s Engineer. The PMC’s primary role will be project and commercial management of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and other contracts that Xlinks is currently procuring for the construction phase of the Project. The Owner’s Engineer’s prime role will be technical and quality assurance of the works under the EPC contracts.
