Description
1) This notice is placed as a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to inform the market of NHS Devon Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) intention to recommission Primary Medical Services in Cranbrook, Devon. The Commissioner would like to understand the level of provider interest in delivering these services. 2) NHS Devon Integrated (the Commissioner) is seeking to secure a Provider who has the capability and capacity to deliver general practitioner services, in line with the specified requirements. 3) The geography covered is: Cranbrook is a new town being developed in East Devon. It is located 9 kilometres (5.6 miles) east; north-east of Exeter city centre, just north-west of the village of Rockbeare. 4) The contract duration will be confirmed ahead of the formal invitation to tender (ITT) being issued. At present the anticipated start date is 01 April 2026 as a 2 year APMS (with potential to extend for a further year) and where applicable and dependent on the Commissioner having assessed satisfactory delivery of APMS and that a transfer of service to a GMS contract would give needed resilience to the delivery of Primary Medical Services for the population, the Commissioner may agree …
