Description
Landscaping Scheme, SCR - Preliminary Market Engagement The Council invite prospective suppliers to get in touch and respond to the attached questions to share their thoughts on the upcoming procurement and any considerations / information which would prove helpful during the tender process. The Southern Connector Road (SCR) was constructed throughout 2022 and 2023 with the objective to serve The New Eastern Villages (NEV), one of the largest greenfield developments in the country, which will consist of 8,000 homes, new schools, employment spaces and community and leisure facilities. Whilst the road was substantially complete, the contracted company that built the Southern Connector Road (The Buckingham Group) went into Administration in September 2023 prior to completion of the landscaping scheme and total scheme practical completion - in advance of addressing any defects / remedial works.
