Description
Background and Scope The City of London Corporation is commissioning a Street Homelessness Outreach and Support service to reduce and end rough sleeping in the Square Mile. The plan includes exploring the alignment of three existing service elements: - Street Outreach; - Floating Support to Rough Sleepers placed in Emergency / interim Accommodation and - Rough Sleeper Navigators, a longer term engagement and support with entrenched and “Living on the Streets” clients The City of London Corporation Department of Community and Children's Services is responsible for delivering these services. The internal design and development of this service is ongoing and partly dependent on funding announcements from the Central Govt Service Requirements Summary The City of London Corporation is seeking a dynamic, flexible and high-quality service that: • Responds to Street Homeless Demand in the City of London via referral or pro active shifts 365 days per year • Build a rapid and trusting rapport with clients • Form excellent and beneficial partnerships with all other relevant services and agencies • Assess and support street homeless clients for a credible move from the streets • Prov…
