The existing building which houses the finance section along with other office based services was a general ward on Bronllys Hospital site originally constructed in the late 1940’s. The building has flat roof at the rear which is beyond normal repair work and will require complete replacement. A specification has been sought from a flat roofing system supplier this will accompany contract and tender information set up by the consultancy engaged to manage the project. The WPA CS1 Consultancy framework, Multi-disciplinary for Mid Wales was utilised as a direct award This framework ensures all tenders are carried out in strict accordance with the EU Procurement Directive and UK public sector procurement rules.
