Description

The successful Supplier will be required to provide cleaning services for Penyrheol Comprehensive School. The annual contract value is approximately £140,000. The initial contract term will be three years, commencing on 1 November 2026 and concluding on 31 October 2029. The contract will operate on a guaranteed performance basis, with the successful Supplier providing a fixed annual contract price. There will be an option to extend the contract for a further period of up to three years by mutual agreement. Penyrheol Comprehensive School is located in Gorseinon, Swansea. It is an English-medium secondary school for pupils aged 11–16, with approximately 870 pupils currently on roll, a capacity of 1,000 pupils, and around 110 members of staff. The school's values include Inclusion, Respect, Aspiration, Belonging and Supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. The school currently employs its own cleaning team. The existing structure comprises one cleaner working in the morning and ten cleaners working during the afternoon and evening, with cleaning completed by 6.00pm.
