As part of the Family Hubs Transformation Programme, it has been agreed, through the Department for Education (DfE) approved delivery plan for Kent: • To provide Parent Infant Relationships training and parent infant relationship training to the workforce. • To explore the procurement of a provider to deliver a level 2 parent infant relationship intervention. We aim to develop the family hub workforces understanding and knowledge of Attachment theory and parent infant relationship through training programmes which support the whole workforce to receive consistent messaging that develops their practice to improve interactions with families and signpost to Level 2 interventions. In Kent, there is a significant number of staff who will require Attachment and Parent Infant Relationships (PIR) training across the joint workforces. We would like to purchase training for a minimum of 235 delegates. The Association for Infant Mental Health (AIMH) Competencies Framework AIMH IMHCF Framework includes raising the standards of care for families by supporting all staff to optimize their learning and skills.
