Description
Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is one of the largest NHS organisations in the UK which provides day to day health services to a population of around 472,400 people living in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The Health Board consists of two main sites, the University Hospital of Wales (UHW), and the University Hospital Llandough (UHL). There are also several smaller Community Hospitals and numerous clinics which all come within the Health Boards property portfolio. This tender specification refers to the servicing of Nurse Call Equipment across UHB sites in line with HTM 08-03. The purpose of the servicing is to ensure the reliable operation of the nurse call system to support patient care and staff communication. The successful Contractor shall carryout comprehensive servicing of all components within the nurse call system. The Contractor shall be responsible for producing a detailed maintenance logs for each serviced unit, detailing inspections, tests any repairs or replacements recommended.
