Description
North Yorkshire Council (the Authority) is requesting information from suppliers to help determine the scope and feasibility of its requirement and to assist with drafting a future tender specification for the Thriving in Care Homes Framework. The Authority is looking to set up an open framework for a total duration of 8 years . There will be no limit to the number of suppliers that will be appointed to the framework. The framework will be split into two Lots. Lot 1 will cover the following service levels (tiers): • Tier 1 - Standard Care – For providers supporting people whose needs are generally stable and can be met through planned, consistent care delivery, without the need for intensive specialist intervention. • Tier 2 – Enhanced Care – For providers able to support people with more complex and fluctuating needs requiring frequent monitoring and responsive intervention to manage risk, distress, and deterioration. • Tier 3 – Frailty and Dementia (complex/specialist) – For providers able to support people whose needs are highly complex, unstable or associated with significant risk and require intensive specialist intervention, and often sustained intervention to maintain safety…
