Description
The purpose of this Preliminary Market Engagement is to inform the market of our envisaged procurement plan on the provision of Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV), Associated Consumables and Ancillary Services in the community. NIV refers to the method of providing ventilatory support to a patient without placing an artificial airway in the main windpipe (trachea). It is used to treat a number of conditions as the risk or likelihood of respiratory failure is prevalent in various disorders. It is envisaged the Supplier(s) will be expected to provide a complete managed service on behalf of Health and Social Care (HSC) in Northern Ireland to patients that require the use of NIV. This will include but not be restricted to: 1) Supply of all equipment, accessories and consumables. 2) Manage installations, deliveries, maintenance of equipment and call outs. 3) Provide a professional and expert customer care team that can provide training and support to Health Care Professionals and patients.
