North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is working for and on behalf of NHS England - North East and Yorkshire (the Contracting Authority), who are proposing to commission the following services within West Yorkshire adult male prisons within His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) • Primary Care Services (including Substance Misuse); and • Mental Health Services (including Learning Disabilities and Autism) The proposed West Yorkshire Prisons covered within this opportunity are; • HMP Leeds; • HMP Wealstun; and • HMP Wakefield. Market Engagement Event The Contracting Authority intends to hold a market engagement event, which will include an overview of the three estates, as well as a presentation which will provide insight into the Contracting Authority's vision for meeting the healthcare needs of the prison population within these secure settings. The market engagement event will be held on 18 April 2024 at The Studio, Riverside West, Whitehall Road, Leeds LS1 4AW. The event will run from 09.30, with a 10.00 start until 13.00.
