Description
North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a commissioning support service hosted by NHS England and is working for and on behalf of NHS England (North East and Yorkshire) and NHS England South West (the Relevant Authorities) who intend to follow the MSP process to award contracts for the provision of Health Visitor Vaccination Pathfinder Project to enhance Routine Childhood Immunisation uptake for 0-5 years in the following areas: • Lot 1 - North East Lincolnshire • Lot 2 - Hull and East Riding • Lot 3 - Somerset The Health and Social Care Act 2012 set out a Local Authority's statutory responsibility for commissioning public health services for children and young people aged 0 to 19 years, this includes the requirement for Local Authority's to commission 0 to 5 years Health Visitor Services. In order to deliver the Health Visitor Vaccination Pathfinder Project, the MSPs MUST hold a current and valid commissioned Health Visitor Service Contract with the Local Authority within the designated lots/localities for which they are expressing an interest in.
