Description
The overarching aim of the Service is to ensure that accessible information and timely support is available to all those exposed, affected or bereaved by (suspected) suicide in order to minimise the emotional impact, promote recovery and reduce further suicides. If people do not wish to access the service “right now” follow ups to be done to see if support is required. Follow up information will be provided at inquests including on support available to access. The Contract will be for a term of three years with the opportunity to extend for two years subject to mutual agreement between the successful Bidder and the Authority. The maximum term of Contract is consequently five years. NHS South Yorkshire ICB Rotherham Place are agreeing longer term contracts to reduce the administrative burden of constant re procurements and offer further stability to providers. However, it should be noted that the awarding of the contract is not a guarantee of future work.
