The Contracting Authority (NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board) has awarded a Call-Off Contract for provision of a Prescribing Decision Support Tool in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (which are the regulations under which the Framework Agreement was established prior to Procurement Act 2023 coming into force (24th Feb 2025)), using via a compliant Call-Off under the NHS SBS Medicines Optimisation Prescribing Decisions Support Systems 3 Framework - Lot 1 SBS10252. As a result of the evaluation undertaken in accordance with the Direct Award Framework Guidance and Rules, Optum Health Solutions (UK) Limited - has been directly awarded as the Preferred Bidder for provision of a Prescribing Decision Support Tool NHS SBS Medicines Optimisation Prescribing Decisions Support Systems 3 Framework - Lot 1 SBS10252. - The scope of this service includes support to increase patient safety, clinical effectiveness of prescribing, and enabling the delivery of medicine optimisation with a prescribing decision support system across MSE Primary Care.
