Network Rail is undertaking preliminary market engagement to understand the market capabilities and potential costs for a new Risk Assessment System to support the consistent creation, management, assurance and use of risk assessments across the organisation. Our current system has approximately 650-700 risk assessments and 300 active users. The purpose of this notice is to gather information from the market on available technologies, system capabilities, delivery approaches and potential implementation models that could inform a future procurement. Network Rail is seeking insight from suppliers who can provide a digital risk assessment management platform capable of supporting a modernised risk assessment process aligned with the organisation’s safety strategy. This engagement is exploratory and this notice does not pre-qualify suppliers or form part of any procurement.
