Description
2.1.1 This project will involve the design and build of the Moulsecoomb Hub scheme consisting of 2 lots; Lot 1: The Hub site and Lot 2: The Residential site. 2.1.2 Lot 1 is for the development of the community hub, a 4 storey 3000 square meter mixed use building to accommodate a GP surgery, Library, Pharmacy, Youth facility and commercial space. The external space will also consist of car parking and outdoor recreation facilities. 2.1.3 Lot 2 is for the development of 212 residential units over 8 blocks of flats and 8 semi-terraced houses. 2.1.4 The project site is on Hodshrove Lane, Brighton and Hove, Brighton BN2 4SE 2.1.5 The scheme currently has planning approval which can be found on the Brighton and Hove Planning portal: BH2022/01063 | Demolition of existing buildings and redevelopment of site to provide new homes, a community hub building (Use Class E & F), 3G sport pitches, skate park, public open space and associated infrastructure. | Moulsecoomb Hub North Hodshrove Lane Brighton BN2 4SE (brighton-hove.gov.uk)
