Description

Mole Valley District Council is inviting tenders for specified improvements and refurbishment works to Grove Road Public Car Park in Ashtead. The works are provisionally programmed for 4th October 2024 to 25th October 2024, the contractor is invited to submit a programme and drawings detailing how this can best be achieved. The works include, but not limited to: general redecoration of previously painted surfaces, repainting of metal railings, resurfacing of car park, repairs to base layer and soft spots, existing drain repairs, new thermoplastic marking of car park areas, new signage and associated works. Refer to specification for full details. All works to be conducted in areas specifically closed off in an active public car park or the whole car park closed throughout the works (preferred option) dependant on contractors submitted programme, working method and Health & Safety plan. Grove Road Car Park is situated in Grove Road Ashtead, Surrey which is off Ashtead High Street and is one of two central car parks in Ashtead with busy times throughout the day.
