Description

1. The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to alert potential suppliers to an opportunity to supply the University of Birmingham with Coffee and Ancillary Products. 2. A supplier engagement day will take place towards the end of January 2024 where suppliers will be given the opportunity to attend a presentation by both Pelican Procurement and The University of Birmingham. As well as this suppliers will be taken on a tour of the campus and any relevant outlets which may be included in the contract. There will be a Q&A portion at the end of this session. 3. Pelican Procurement and The University of Birmingham will be running a Public Tender process for the supply and distribution of coffee and ancillary products. The procurement will be run and advertised via the Mytenders portal (www.mytenders.co.uk) 4. This PIN does not formally signify the beginning of a procurement and does not constitute a commitment by The University of Birmingham to undertake any procurement exercise.
