Description

Buckinghamshire Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (BOB ICB) is planning to reprocure the following services for a new contract start in September 2026: • APMS contract for two-site GP practice in High Wycombe with current list of 11,949 patients • APMS contract for single-site GP practice in High Wycombe with current list of 6,254 patients • Special Allocations Service (SAS) provision for Buckinghamshire (sub-ICB area) - currently 15-25 patients Following previous market engagement in December 2024, BOB ICB's preference is to procure the two mainstream APMS practices from a single provider, with the intention to merge in the first 18 months of the contract. The ICB's priorities include securing long-term sustainability and working at scale. The proposed contract length is at least 8 years (plus 4 years, plus 3) subject to NHS England approval before procurement . Population growth in the expanded area to be covered by the contract has an indicative growth of 1,000 to 2,500 in the proposed fifteen-year extended contract period.
