Description
Haringey Council is inviting interested organisations to a market engagement for the provision of Young People Supported Housing Pathway Services. The event will take place on Monday 23rd September 2024, from 2.30 to 4:00pm at Alexandra House Level 8, 10 Station Road, Wood Green N22 7TR. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the event start time to allow an appropriate time to sign in at reception. Refreshments will be available. The aim of the pathway is to focus on building young people's resilience, by preparing them for independent living and the transition to adulthood. This will reduce the potential for repeat homelessness and long-term reliance on statutory services. The Council's ultimate objective is to offer a range of provision types, settings and support levels tailored to meet different service user needs. Young people will have a variety of needs including but not limited to mental health, substance misuse and history of involvement with the criminal justice system and specialist advice in areas such as immigration, Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), torture and trauma counselling, sexual abuse support and trafficking.
