Description
This is a 12-month maintenance contract for Balloon Pumps at Morriston Hospital, part of Swansea Bay University Health Board, arranged via the NHS Supply Chain with Getinge Ltd. Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps are high-risk cardiac support devices that temporarily assist the heart’s pumping function. Regular maintenance is essential to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and equipment reliability. Without this contract, equipment downtime could increase, leading to delays or cancellations and directly impacting patient care and service delivery across the Health Board
