Description
Dumfries and Galloway are exploring options for the provision of parts and services relating to the repair and maintenance of the waste process equipment within the Lochar-Moss MBT facility. The primary purpose of the MBT facility, is to mechanically recycle all incoming household waste from across the Dumfries and Galloway region of Scotland, operating 5 days per week, 24 hours per day, processing up to 70,000 tons of household bin waste per year. The scope may include but not be limited to emergency repairs, pro-active repairs and maintenance and lifecycle replacement and refurbishment plant processing equipment in the following discipline areas: - Chain conveyors - Belt conveyors - Shredders - Trommels and screening - Over-band magnetic extraction - Overhead Gantry cranes - Press compactors - Process fans - Compressors - Dust extraction - Rapid rise shutter doors - Fire suppression system, flame detection - Please note that at this stage the scope of the framework and its lots have yet to be determined and therefore may change from those stated.
