Description

This is a Contract for Innovation competition funded by the Home Office (HO). The aim of the competition is to develop systems capable of automatically detecting knives concealed on a person, at a distance, to be used by police forces. Systems can either be fixed during operation and capable of scanning a defined area of space containing one or more subjects, or capable of being carried and operated by a single police officer for at least the duration of a shift. This procurement will be managed electronically via the Home Office's e-sourcing Portal (JAGGAER). To participate in this procurement, participants must first be registered on the e-sourcing Portal. Please note that, to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation which you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so.
