Refurbishment of King's Road Recreation Area Play Area Location - Bungay Suffolk https://maps.app.goo.gl/HTG7JdgDnM6eGnVC8 (5-11-year-olds) Bungay Town Council invites tenders for the refurbishment of the children's play area at King's Road Recreation Area, for children aged 5-11 years old. The project includes the removal of existing equipment, supply and installation of new play equipment, safety surfacing, and associated groundworks, with a total project budget of £50,000. Scope of Works: 1. Removal of Existing Equipment o Dismantling and removal of all existing play equipment. o Safe and environmentally responsible disposal of old equipment. o Site clearance and preparation for installation of new equipment. 2. New Play Equipment Supply and Installation o Provision of a range of durable, and exciting play equipment for children aged 5-11 years. o Installation of equipment to ensure compliance with British Standards (BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177). o Equipment should encourage active play, social interaction, creativity, and inclusive access. o Consideration for a mix of physical, imaginative, and sensory play elements. o Installation of suitable safety surfacing, …
