Interim Director of Public Health Rate of Pay: To be agreed Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury/Hybrid Working. There will also be a requirement to be onsite likely to be 3 days per week to be agreed with the successful candidate Start Date: Early August 2024 Contract type: Agency Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: Sandwell Council are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Interim Director of Public Health who is passionate about our vision of making Sandwell a healthier place to live and work. The Interim DPH role will be inside IR35 and the contract length for up to 12 Months, ideally commencing in post early August 2024. Reporting into the Executive Director of People with a dotted line to the Chief Executive, the Interim DPH will be responsible for determining the overall vision and objectives for public health in the Borough of Sandwell.
