Description
Bracknell Forest Council Public Health team currently commission Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health (ISH) services on behalf of the three Berkshire East councils (Bracknell Forest Council, Slough Council and Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead). While many sexual and reproductive health indicators for Berkshire East local authorities are performing comparatively well to national outcomes, there are some areas for improvement, including: • Improving the chlamydia detection rate • Reducing new syphilis and gonorrhoea infections • Implementing HIV prevention strategies to: o Reduce new HIV diagnosis o Increase HIV testing o Improve earlier detection of HIV and reduce late HIV diagnosis • Increasing contraceptive offer • Reducing under 25s abortions and repeat abortions • Ensuring a more equitable access to sexual and reproductive services What we are looking for The provision of ISH services for Berkshire East which will include the provision of: • An Integrated Sexual Health Service delivering all three levels of sexual and reproductive healthcare (Levels 1, 2, and 3).
