Description
Skanska Costain Strabag Joint Venture (SCSJV) are seeking supply chain partners to provide crane maintenance services for the HS2 Main Works Civils Contract Area Central. The Subcontractor provides all management, people, equipment, plant and materials, consumables (including fuels) and any other resources necessary to carry out and complete the items below. Timing of work to be agreed 4 weeks prior to planned commencement. LOLER thorough examination of each crane (e.g., https://www.hse.gov.uk/work-equipment-machinery/thorough-examinations-lifting-equipment.htm). Periodic LOLER thorough examination according to LOLER requirements Including but not limited to: Wear checks and measurements on brakes, ropes, mechanical and electrical components Visual inspections and functional checks of all components, including but not limited to brakes and safety devices All brakes are visually inspected thus ensuring that the brakes are working efficiently and without undue wear.
