We will deliver a series of webinars (including non-contracted deliverables as a value add) between January and March 2024 to focus on how trusts can implement the six high impact actions of the NHS EDI Improvement Plan, as well as explore the links to the NHS Standard contract requirements of submitting a WRES / WDES action plan. These will be virtual sessions open to NHS providers and systems, aimed primarily at board members and senior leaders. • 'Empowering your workforce to challenge discrimination (linked to High Impact Action 6) on 20 February 2024.Through show casing interventions, this webinar will support trust leaders to: ensure concerns raised about racism are dealt with in a proactive, preventative and timely manner; establish internal data driven accountability that is scrutinised at every level; and demonstrate their understanding of and progress towards race equality. • 'Can we talk about race?' (21 March 2024). This session will focus on how leaders are enabling conversations about race and involving staff, patients, and communities.
