Introduction 1. Historic England invites organisations to submit tenders for undertaking a data collection for a contingent valuation study focused on Belsay Hall, a historic site based in Northumberland. The target demographic encompasses residents within the Tyne and Wear, County Durham and Northumberland. 2. The primary aim of this study is to quantify the economic and social value attributed by the community to the conservation of heritage sites, with a focus on understanding public perception and willingness to support preservation efforts. 3. Participating organisations are tasked solely with the execution of the survey. The responsibilities exclude the formulation of the questionnaire and the subsequent analysis of collected data, which will be undertaken by Historic England. 4.
