Description

Madeley Parish Council is proposing to refurbish a play area with the installation of new equipment, including the refurbishment of some existing equipment and appropriate surfacing for younger children. The play area is intended to be used by children with ages ranging from toddler to age 12. Experienced play area installers are invited to tender for the contract. The parish council will remain the project manager for this project but the contracting authority, to whom invoicing and payment will be made is Newcastle under-Lyme Borough Council. It is anticipated that construction work will be carried out in Autumn 2025 with the playground ready for use October 31st 2025 at the latest. An earlier construction programme can be agreed with the Parish Council if preferred by the contractor and subject to successful grant funding. All prices are to be net, excluding VAT. Companies must be registered with the API (Association of Play Industries) to tender for this contract.
