HEA25007 Pre-Market Engagement: Community Based Domestic Abuse Service

Description

HEA25007 Pre-Market Engagement Community Based Domestic Abuse Service Worcestershire County Council (the Council) would like to invite interested organisations to attend a virtual engagement session around the possible future delivery of a community based domestic abuse service across the county. In 2021 a new Domestic Abuse Act (2021) was introduced and placed new duties on local authorities across England to ensure that victims of domestic abuse and their children could access the right support in safe accommodation when they need it. To support these duties, new burdens funding was allocated to Local Authorities. The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) have recently announced continuation of new burdens funding for 2025-26 to support Domestic Abuse initiatives. As a result, the Council wishes to commission a new, countywide, Community Based Support Service.
