Description
Raunds Town Council is inviting qualified contractors to tender for a comprehensive grounds maintenance and associated services contract. The five-year contract will commence on April 1, 2025, and end on March 31, 2030. Scope of Work: The successful contractor will be responsible for maintaining the town's open spaces, including: Recreation grounds and sports pitches. Play areas and cemeteries. Regular litter picking and bin emptying. Detailed specifications, including area maps and task requirements, are outlined in the tender documentation. Work will include: Grass Cutting: To maintain specified grass areas to standards described, with schedules varying from 7 to 16 cuts annually depending on location. Hedge Cutting: Two cuts annually for most areas during the approved period (September to February). Litter Management: Regular litter picking and bin emptying, with specific frequencies assigned per location.
