Description
You are invited to submit a quote for cutting various areas of grass within the village of Roade. Areas to be cut will be shown on a map. The contract will run for a 3-year period commencing on 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2027 and the stipulated number of cuts must be carried out at regular intervals throughout the season. Depending on growth, more frequent cuts may be required and ordered by the Parish Council. These additional cuts will be at the price shown for "Single cuts" on the tender form. If you would be interested in being awarded the contract for a three-year period, could you please include quotes for grass cutting for the next three years on the understanding that the price remains as quoted for the season 2024/25, 2025/26, 2026/27. All work carried out must be to the satisfaction of the Parish Council who reserve the right to terminate the contract by giving one months' notice in writing. The successful contractor must agree to comply with the standards detailed in the specification and must forward a copy of their Public Liability insurance and herbicide certificate to the Parish Clerk before commencing the contract.
