Description
Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) (via Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO) 1204 PPE Workwear, Uniform and Managed Services Lot 1) on behalf of The Northwest FRS's (NWFRS) namely: Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service, Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service are looking for a single supplier to develop and supply both a technical rescue tunic and technical rescue over trouser as a replacement for the existing technical rescue tunics and technical rescue over trousers worn by the Northwest Fire and rescue Services. The technical rescue tunics and technical rescue over trousers are intended to be worn at a variety of non-structural fire and rescue incidents. This development falls directly from risk assessment as an exploratory exercise to design and innovate these garments for use in non-structural rescue specific situations.
