Description
To submit a bid, please sign up to our e-tendering portal In Tend at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/lancaster/aspx/Home. You should then be able to download the documentation, fill out, and submit back. Please ensure any clarifications are sent through In Tend with ample time to respond before the deadline. This is a framework contract for General Building Works which shall encompass and deliver general building and refurbishment, or improvement works on projects above the value of £25k. Our previous iteration of this framework was used for works up to £1.3million, however contractors should be aware that projects of this size are very rare, with 50% of awards made on the previous framework being for projects valued at between £25,000 and £50,000, and another 40% of awards being for projects valued between £50,001 and £500,000. The framework will predominantly involve working with our existing buildings and may be of a multi-disciplinary nature, whereby the contractors on the framework will be expected to, and capable of, managing their own sub-contractors on a project-by-project basis (no more than 50% of the work is to be sub-contracted).
