Description
The current Home Care Framework (currently named the Domiciliary Support Service) is due to expire on 6th October 2024 with procurement planned for October/November 2023. The contract had the option to extend for up to two years, and these have been utilised. The current jointly commissioned Framework began on 9th October 2017 and is supported by the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland NHS Integrated Care Board. A commissioning review has been undertaken to re-procure this statutory provision. A multi-disciplinary programme board has overseen the review arrangements which are led by senior officers in the ASC strategic commissioning team. Members include representatives from the Integrated Care Board and NHS Midlands & Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit. The tender opportunity for the provision of ASC0288 - Home Care Service was advertised on 15th November 2023. The deadline for submissions was 2pm on Tuesday 19th December 2023.
