Description

Central Region - West Brief scope of works: 1. Accredited professional to gain access to the roof spaces and carry out a thorough and comprehensive inspection of the roof space to ensure adequate compartmentation exists between flats and/or buildings. The only access currently is through the domestic flats themselves. Lack of compartmentation is a critical fire safety feature designed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke between different areas of a building. Without confirmation of sufficient compartmentation, there is a heightened risk that a fire could spread rapidly, endangering the lives of residents. 2. Block of Flats 1 - Fill the compartmentation breach within the ground floor gas services cupboard with the correct fire stopping product IAW DIO TS 2022-02 (attached) 3.
