Description
Perth & Kinross Council intend to issue a contract opportunity for Family Support Services. The contract will be split into 3 lots to deliver a range of support services. Lot 1 Intensive Whole Family Support Services The service will provide support for children, young people, parents and carers with children from 0 to 18 years old. The aim of the service is to provide early help to support children to remain within their families wherever possible by working with parents and carers to improve their ability to meet all their children’s needs. If this is achieved, the need for children and young people to have statutory Social Work intervention will be reduced and parents and carers will have increased confidence in managing their parental responsibilities. Services to be provided include support with practical parenting skills, child development, routines/boundaries, behaviour management and community engagement. The service will be flexible to provide support when children, young people, parents and carers require this support, which may include evenings and weekends.
