Description
NHS Devon (the Commissioner) sought to commission a service for a Falls and Anticipatory Service in Southern Devon. This is a primary care based service focussing on the prevention of falls and the identification of those at the greatest risk falling to provide access evidence based interventions for those at high risk of falls. The contract term is for a period of 12 months commencing on 16 October 2023. The annual contract value is £137,500 Additional information: The award of contract was completed without prior publication as falls below threshold and as awarded as a direct award. The services are healthcare services falling within Schedule 3 to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 ("the Regulations") which are not subject to the full regime of the Regulations, but is instead governed by the "Light Touch Regime" contained within Chapter 3, Section 7 of the Regulations (Regulations 74 to 77). .
