Description
The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is seeking Expressions of Interest for an urgent opportunity to deliver a First Person View (FPV) Drone Training Fleet. This FPV Drone Training Fleet is required to support a scheduled military exercise in late Spring. Quantity or scope: Interested parties should have demonstrable experience in this sector and be able to meet the following key deliverables: 1) 5 Inch, 8 Inch and 10 Inch Quadcopter drones capable of: a) Enabling the training of Field Army soldiers. b) For 8/10 Inch - Carrying a payload to simulate the flight characteristics of an armed FPV drone (payload will be provided by the Authority) c) Being maintained by the user/drone operator. d) Operating with Betaflight Software. 2) VTx Goggles - The FPV Platform shall be operable using FPV goggles. 3) Controller/Transmitter - An ELRS controller/transmitter operating at 915MHz that is reconfigurable outside of the 850-950MHz range. The transmitter shall be capable of connecting to an external antenna module. 4) Battery chargers - The system shall be supplied with appropriate chargers able to charge both LiPo XT60 and Li-Ion Batteries up to and including 6S 9500mAh XT90 (XT60 to …
