Electronic Education Plan and Attendance Management System with a ring-round Service

Description

Oxfordshire County Council are seeking views from potential providers and exploring readily available options on how best to deliver a recording system for an electronic Personal Education Plan (ePEP) to improve both the quality and efficiency of PEP's within the Local Authority, but also to make the process of completing a PEP more streamlined and user friendly. This includes a robust LAC attendance monitoring and ring-around service. The aim of this exercise is to understand the provider market, current and emerging practices as well as likely level of interest in the potential procurement activity that the Council may carry out. It is also an opportunity for developing relationships with providers and gain insight on how they would approach the delivery of this service. We are committed to improving the educational attainment of looked-after children and has a duty under the Children Act 1989 to safeguard and promote the welfare of a child looked after by them.   This includes a specific duty to promote the child's educational achievement, wherever they live or are educated.   All children that are looked after must have a Personal Education Plan (PEP) which is reviewed …
