Description

There are 2 green tunnels within the EKFB section of the HS2 works, located at Chipping Warden & Greatworth, each tunnel has a building located at either end of the tunnel portals (4 building in all) The portal buildings and their compound, houses the mechanical, public health, fire and electrical equipment and provide necessary services for the Green Tunnel. EKFB is seeking to appoint a competent subcontractor to undertake the M&E package of works for each building. The scope of works includes but is not limited to the supply, storage, installation, balancing, testing, commissioning, bringing into use, handover, and provision of operational maintenance (O&M) and staff training, encompassing the following systems: natural ventilation system; general mechanical heat recovery ventilation system; temperature control ventilation system; mechanical cooling system; electrical heating system; building management system; automatic monitoring and control; fire detection and alarm; fire hydrant system; gas suppression system; normal and emergency lighting for the portal building and its compound; power supply systems within the portal building; …
