Description
EAST Summer School is a free interactive summer holiday programme for young people aged between 12 – 17 living, studying, or working in the four host boroughs of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Since 2018, EAST Summer School been engaging with a wide range of young people with all types of social, educational, and emotional needs as we thrive to provide a safe service for young people who want to explore different creative industries in a stimulating environment. Supported by world-leading East Bank partners and other stakeholders who collaborate within the community will be delivering free accessible workshops from Monday 28th July until 8th August for two specific age groups. The younger age group will be between 12 – 14-year-olds and the older age group will be for 15 – 17-year-olds. Partitioning the target audience in this way enables delivery partners to formulate courses towards their academic needs rather than personal abilities for enhanced engagement.
