Description
Design & Construction of a new Wheeled Sports Facility Bude-Stratton Town Council are seeking a suitably experienced and qualified design and build contractor to undertake the design, renovation, enhancement and build of a new wheeled sports facility named Cable Park, near Crooklets beach in Bude, Cornwall. Bude deserves a modern wheeled sports facility that has space and interest for a wide range of ages, skills and types of wheeled sports. It shall be a destination venue fully accessible, visitor friendly, safe and with green credentials. The wheeled sports project looks to expand the current site; we are proposing that the current park is enhanced and improved with a focus on beginners and other wheeled sports users and that a new site further inland constructed from new, for more advanced users. Between the new and existing site there is a green zone with a buried transatlantic cable which must not be disturbed. This is a no-dig zone 3m wide either side of the buried cable.
