Description
This proposal forms part of a Greater Manchester wide funding arrangement to support delivery of a Young Onset Dementia Admiral Nurse service. Each participating local authority will contribute £7,000 per year over a three year period. The total annual cost of the service is £70,000. Where fewer than ten Greater Manchester local authorities participate, any shortfall in the annual funding requirement will be met by Dementia UK through its charitable reserves, ensuring continuity of service delivery without additional financial risk to participating local authorities.
