2gether Support Solutions Ltd. (herein referred to as "our" or "us" or "we") was formed in April 2018 as a new, wholly owned subsidiary company of one of the largest NHS Foundation Trusts in the UK, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust (the "Trust"). We provide essential support services to the Trust, from facilities and property management to catering, procurement and portering. We are seeking to appoint a professionally qualified, competent and suitably experienced Dangerous Good Safety Adviser to: • assess, and prevent, the risks involved in the carriage of dangerous goods. This includes risks to people, property and the environment; and • oversee, and ensure, our compliance with Health Technical Memorandum 07-01: Safe and sustainable management of healthcare waste, along with supporting the drive to net zero carbon emissions by 2045. Other DGSA responsibilities shall include: • monitoring compliance with the legal requirements governing the carriage of dangerous goods; • providing advice on how to transport dangerous goods safely; • investigating any accidents or infringements of regulations and keeping records of them through reports; …
