Description
The Cyclical Decorations and Enveloping Works Contract is required across a range of different stock and tenure's including Void properties, General Needs properties, Retirement and Supported Living properties, Home Options (Leasehold and Shared Ownership) properties and Mutual Properties. Midland Heart expects the successful Contractor to deliver this Contract across Midland Hearts geographical scope. Where budgets permit, the Contractor maybe required to deliver a more encompassing program of works than just cyclical external and internal decorations. Any works that are required to improve the physical appearance and weather durability of our stock should be highlighted and referred for approval to repair to the contract officer. The vision is to leave a building not only redecorated but to also encompass a series of general building repairs to the whole envelope, leaving the building wind and weather tight with a good aesthetic and cared for appearance. This will make good use of scaffolds and other methods of access whilst cyclical works take place and avoid double access costs over intermittent periods of time.
